I really hope they get this right, the book was simply AMAZING, I’m really excited but extremely nervous bout this The Time Traveler’s wife movie. I just hope it is as good as the book.

I would have liked John Cusack and Lauren Ambrose in the main roles, with Christian Bale as Gomez. I am not the biggest fan of this book, it strikes me as a love story written by someone who has never truly been in love, but the story elements are compelling, and there are some great dramatic scenes in it. And no, I’m not referring to the “Henry meets himself at 15″ scene, which I found to be a “jump the shark” moment in the book. The death of Henry’s mother, Henry being caught in the globe, the frostbite sequence, and a couple of others are great sequences. Lots of good stuff for a film in there. Maybe I’ll start working on my own screenplay for this.
